Post-Game Event Report
Post-Game Event Report
The post-game event report is available to team admins, team reporters and the referee of the game. It currently covers football games.
Post-Game Event Report
Enter the whole match afterwards — goals, cards and substitutions, each with the minute it happened.
When to use it: After the final whistle, when nobody reported the game live and you want the goals, cards and substitutions in the game timeline anyway.
Getting started
The post-game report opens from the game page, the same place live reporting starts. Have your notes or the match sheet ready — you will need the minute of each event.
1. Tap the + button
Open the game page and tap the plus button to open the game menu.
2. Tap "Post game event report"
It sits with the other reporting options, under "Goal & event reporting". If somebody has already started a report on this game you are offered to take that one over instead of creating a second one.
Set up the report
The first screen is the game structure. It decides which period each event belongs to and which minutes each period accepts, so it is worth getting right before you start typing events.
3. Set the periods and continue
Set how many periods the game had and how long each one was, and turn on overtime or penalties if the game went that far. Then continue to create the report.
4. Change the setup later if needed
The report opens on a list with one section per period. The settings icon reopens the setup, so a wrong period length is easy to correct — and from there you can also delete the whole report and start over.
Add the events
Events are added one period at a time. Each event asks for its minute, the team and the players involved, and ends on a summary where you can check everything before saving.
5. Tap "Add game event"
Use the button on the period the event belongs to. The minute you enter has to fall inside that period's range — for a 45-minute second half that means 45' to 90'.
6. Pick the event type
Choose goal, card or substitution, then work through the questions: the minute, which team, and which player.
7. Check the summary and save
The summary lists every detail as its own row — tap a row to change it. Add a comment if you want the event to carry a note, then save. The event appears under its period and the score updates as you go.
- Goal: scorer, optional assist, goal type and where the shot came from and went.
- Card: yellow or red, the player or team staff member, and the reason for the card. Some leagues require a written reason on red cards.
- Substitution: the player coming in and the player going out. You can queue up several substitutions and save them in one go.
Review and finalize
When every event is in, the report goes through a review step. Nothing is published to the game timeline until you finalize.
8. Tap "Review & finalize"
The button at the bottom of the period list opens the review. It stays disabled until at least one event has been reported.
9. Check the list and finalize
The review shows every event in one chronological list, exactly as it will look on the game page. Go back and edit if something is off, then finalize.
Finalizing publishes the report: the events show up on the game timeline and the result is set from the goals you reported. Fix any mistakes before you finalize rather than after.
