Digital ID Check

Digital ID Check

The digital ID check is available to team admins, team reporters and the referee of the game.

Digital ID Check

Confirm that every player and staff member in the game roster is who they say they are.

When to use it: At the venue before kick-off, when the identities in the game roster need to be verified against the people who actually turned up.

Getting started

The digital ID check opens from the game page. You check one team at a time, so start by picking the team you want to go through.

1. Tap the + button

Open the game page and tap the plus button to open the game menu.

2. Tap "Digital ID check"

Then choose which team to check — home or away. The digital ID check always covers one team at a time.

Check each person

The list shows every player and staff member in the game roster, with a status icon on the right. The counters at the top keep a running total of how far you have got.

3. Tap a person in the list

Players come first, team staff below them. Their digital ID opens with the photo, the name, the shirt number and the details the organizer has chosen to show.

4. Confirm the person

Compare the photo and the details with the person in front of you, then tap Confirm. Use the arrows to move on to the next person without going back to the list.

The four statuses

Every player and staff member has one of four statuses:

  • Unchecked
The starting point — nobody has looked at this person yet. Unchecked people have no icon in the list.
  • Confirmed
You have seen the person and their digital ID matches. Shown with a green check.
  • Absent
The person is in the game roster but did not turn up at the venue. Shown with an orange cross.
  • Suspended
Set by the league — the person is not allowed to take part in this game. A suspension cannot be changed from here.

You can change a status as long as the check is open: open the person again and pick another status from the menu next to the confirm button.
